ABOUT
Mills & Co. isn’t just another marketing agency—we’re the architects of strategic growth for hospitality, tourism, and food & beverage brands. We don’t do fluff, gimmicks, or generic solutions. We create marketing strategies that align with business goals, drive measurable results, and cut through the noise.
We Do Marketing Differently. Here’s How:
Strategy First, Always.
We don’t post for the sake of posting. We build intentional, data-driven strategies that align marketing with business goals.
Radical Transparency.
No smoke and mirrors. We believe in clear, honest communication and a no-BS approach to marketing.
We Know Your Industry.
We specialize in hospitality, tourism, and food & beverage. This isn’t a generic playbook—it’s marketing built for your unique business.
Boutique Service, Big Impact.
We don’t hand you off to a rotating account manager. We’re hands-on partners in your success.
We didn’t start Mills & Co. because we love social media. We started it because we saw a problem: Too many businesses were throwing time and money at marketing without a strategy—and getting nowhere. We knew there was a better way.
Since 2016, we’ve worked with over 500 brands in the hospitality, tourism, and food & beverage industries. We’ve seen it all—marketing plans that never made it past the brainstorming stage, social media accounts running on auto-pilot with no strategy, and businesses wasting time and money on tactics that don’t move the needle.
That’s where we come in.
We’ve developed a reputation for rehabbing broken marketing strategies, taking businesses from disjointed and ineffective to streamlined, profitable, and scalable. We don’t believe in throwing money at ads without a plan or posting just to stay “active.” Every move we make is intentional, built on a strategy that aligns with business goals and delivers measurable results.
With a combined 25 years of experience, we know the industry inside and out—but that doesn’t mean we’re old school. Our superpower is innovation. We thrive in the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing, adapting ahead of trends and crafting strategies that actually work in today’s market.
At Mills & Co., we don’t believe in guesswork. We believe in smart, strategic, results-driven marketing—and we’re damn good at it.

Years in the Game: 25+ (but we keep our strategies fresher than your morning coffee)
Marketing Pet Peeve: Random posting with no strategy—just stop.
Superpower: Turning chaos into clarity with strategy that actually works.
Favorite Part of the Job: That moment when a client sees their marketing finally start delivering results.
Random Skill: Sara does a killer godfather impression and Brent can smack a golf ball an obscenely long way.
"We’ve seen too many businesses pouring time, energy, and money into marketing that leads nowhere. We built Mills & Co. to change that. We thrive on solving the puzzle—taking brands from scattered and struggling to streamlined and successful. It’s not just about social media; it’s about making marketing work for your business, not the other way around."
Sara – The Architect of Strategy & Storytelling
Sara doesn’t just build marketing strategies—she solves business puzzles at lightning speed. With an uncanny ability to look at a brand, spot the gaps, and instantly see opportunities others miss, she turns chaos into clarity and wasted effort into scalable, strategic growth.
Her superpower? Diagnosing the problem, spotting the fix, and executing—fast. Whether it's refining a brand's voice, overhauling a content strategy, or finally making social media work for a business instead of against it, Sara thrives on getting results without the fluff.
Her background? Let’s just say it’s been anything but conventional. From owning a fitness studio to being a massage therapist to working with a top marketing agency in Toronto, she’s always been driven by one thing: helping people thrive—whether in business, movement, or mindset.
When she’s not tearing apart outdated marketing strategies and rebuilding them better, you’ll find her chasing adventure—hiking, travelling, or diving headfirst into freezing cold water (yes, on purpose). She lives for the ocean, hates beets with a passion, and once upon a time, she was both a competitive runner and a singer. If there’s an experience to be had, Sara’s all in—except if it involves beets.
📌 Superpower: Diagnosing business problems and seeing opportunities that others miss—then fixing them fast.
📌 Marketing Pet Peeve: “Best practices.” To Sara, that’s just code for playing it safe and doing what’s already been done. If it’s not innovative, strategic, and built specifically for the business, it’s just noise.
📌 Favorite Part of the Job: That lightbulb moment when a client realizes marketing can actually work for them.
📌 Random Skill: Has an autogenic memory, which means she knows the lyrics to almost every song she’s ever heard—after one listen. (A party trick and a curse.)
📌 Will Try Any Food Except: Beets. Just no.
📌 Favorite Music Genre: 90’s music—especially rap. If it was on a mixtape in '98, she’s still blasting it.
Brent – The Data-Driven Growth Strategist
Brent is the guy who makes marketing make sense. Where others see chaos, he sees patterns, efficiencies, and opportunities to optimize. A dedicated lifelong learner, he’s built his career on understanding systems, refining them, and making them work better—whether that’s a business strategy, a marketing funnel, or his golf swing (which, annoyingly, is always on point).
His superpower? Empathy and listening. Brent isn’t just analyzing data—he’s listening, deeply. He has a knack for truly understanding people—their challenges, their goals, their blind spots—and using that insight to craft marketing strategies that actually work.
His path to marketing wasn’t conventional, but then again, neither is he. He spent over a decade in aerospace, specializing in occupational health and safety and dangerous goods before pivoting into business. And when Brent commits to something, he goes all in. He completed his entire post-secondary education online, earning a business diploma (with honours), an undergrad in business and marketing (graduating with distinction), and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in business with a focus on consulting leadership. Because if there’s more to learn, Brent’s learning it.
When he’s not optimizing workflows or running data models, you’ll find him travelling, reading, or playing literally any sport and being unreasonably good at it. Golf is his main obsession (he can drive a ball an absurd distance), but if there’s competition involved, he’s in. He hates tofu, loves a perfect burger, and will passionately defend ska music to anyone who questions it. And while business strategy is his profession, football is his passion—so much so that one of his all-time greatest moments was standing on the field at a Green Bay Packers game during a media trip.
📌 Superpower: Empathy & listening—he truly hears people, understands their challenges, and helps them find the best path forward.
📌 Marketing Pet Peeve: Status quo mindset—copy-paste "strategies" that don’t actually fit the business. If it’s not customized, it’s not a strategy.
📌 Favorite Part of the Job: Seeing the numbers prove what we already knew—strategy works.
📌 Random Skill: Can smack a golf ball an obscenely long way.
📌 Will Try Any Food Except: Tofu. Not happening.
📌 Favorite Music Genre: Ska. Yes, really.
Sara and Brent don’t just run Mills & Co.—they reinvent how marketing should work for businesses. With a shared passion for strategic growth, a no-BS approach, and a commitment to real, measurable impact, they help brands stop spinning their wheels and start seeing results.
